- To install, first click your start button and search %appdata% and press Enter. This will open the Roaming folder.

- Unzip this file, and copy the new .minecraft folder into the Roaming folder opened from searching %appdata%. 

- Open the new .minecraft folder (the one placed in %appdata%), then run MinecraftLauncher.exe, It may take a minute or two to load.

- Click the SETUP button in the launcher.

- Click the tab next to the ENVIRONMENT box and select "1.7.10""

- Click the MODS tab, and click the ADD button. Open the folder in .minecraft named "magic", select 1.7.10-OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_A4.jar" and click OPEN

- By default the launcher only allocates 512 MB of memory to Minecraft, to unlock OptiFine's full potential you need to allocate at least 1024MB of memory for Minecraft. To do this make sure you are still in the SETUP menu, click the ADVANCED tab, and in the box next to MEMORY replace 512 with 1024 (or 2048 if your system is 64 bit, always in multiples of 512.)

- Click OK at the bottom of the Setup menu.

- Enter your username in the Username box, use any password if you are non-premium, and click LOGIN.

- Non-Premium will get a message saying "Invalid Username or Password" that's ok, just click PLAY OFFLINE
